This charger works exactly as described. It’s very well made, with an even outer coating and heavy duty hardware and cables. Easy to use, charges well and quickly, doesn’t overheat. I wouldn’t call it ‘lightweight’ exactly, but I’m a very small woman who’s not young. I wasn’t winded or strained from carrying it, but I wouldn’t call it ‘lightweight’ either.

This product seems to overcharge my lead acid batteries. There is unusual heat generated when charging (yes I know some is expected) but it also forces the batteries to consume the cells’ water. In one week I had to add 1 gal of water (6-8v batteries). At first I thought maybe this is for Lithium batteries but the label on the product clearly states ‘lead acid’….but something ain’t right with this…

This is a great portable golf cart battery charger. It is well made and charges evenly. It’s easy to to carry and doesn’t take up much space. I feel like it’s a safe bet and won’t damage my battery.

It’s a nice charger for a good price. The only thing I think it needs is a longer cord to plug into the golf cart. I don’t like having to set the charger on the floorboard of my golf cart so the cord will reach.
