Found the original pump on our 1983 Evinrude OB 50HP was leaking from the top of the main pump gasket. Tried tightening the screws down but to no avail. (Hey it is 38 years old so I thought it may be time for a new one lol). Original from replacement OMC was over $100, found this one so we figured it was worth a shot, as it listed ‘direct replacement’. 10 minutes to take off the old and install the new. Motor fired right up and runs perfectly. EZ install with minimum tools. Great product at a great price!

My fuel pump on my 50hp Evinrude outboard went out…while on the water, of course.
I purchased this fuel pump which was priced well, received it on time, installed it in moments and the motor runs perfectly. Back to the water!
