These worked great on my Hyundai Sonata. Quick, easy replacement. I would recommend using vice grips on one OLD strut to keep the hood open while replacing the first strut. The new one will support enough to change out the remaining strut.
I wish I had done this sooner. My head has a couple of dings due to my procrastination. You won’t regret replacing your old struts with these.

The included instructions are worthless. They don’t pertain to the hardware on the stuff I recieved. Also the bottom of my struts don’t have the ball on the bottom (see my picture for the difference) so it takes a little more finagling to get everything lined up.
Undo the two bolts on the bottom and then you can twist the whole strut off. Screw the upper bolt in. Pull the stick or whatever you’re using to prop the hatch up and raise the hatch beyond its usual top and you can get the bottom 2 bolts aligned. Recommend you alternate tightening the two bolts at least until their both well into their threads. Repeat for the other side. So far seems to be solid though and with a very nice balance of support but still being fairly easy to close.
