This charger is well at home in my garage, where it suits to charge a variety of batteries from cars to ATVs to lawn equipment.
It supports different types of batteries, including 12V (but not 24V!) LiFePO4 batteries. You get several different charge cycle and maintenance options, and the 20A charge rate is more than adequate to quickly boost a low battery.
One thing I don’t see here is a safety override to charge a completely dead battery. Most chargers have a safety/anti-reverse function, where it won’t charge unless there’s some residual voltage in the battery to detect the correct polarity and connection. And often there’s a button to override that feature, and be able to charge a battery that’s totally dead. This one seems to lack that override.
It’s of good enough quality, with a relatively sturdy looking enclosure and largish clamps with good spring tension for connection to the battery. The menu system for selecting battery types and modes is fairly easy to use, with minimal Chinglish and not too much excessive button mashing.

I really needed this to work and it didn’t. It feels like an empty box not heavy at all. I had it plugged in and it showed no power going to my battery or to the vehicle. It says it’s supposed to set itself but it doesn’t. It’s not user friendly. I would not recommend this for an emergency.

I can’t say enough good about this charger. I used to own a motorsport shop years ago and I also did sound system competitions (Sound/install quality not decibel comps.) that rely heavily on additional batteries etc. So I’m pretty well versed in these things and batteries in general.
This charger has a variety of setting to choose from depending on what you want to accomplish. You have options. It’s a little light on the “start” help, but really even professional chargers don’t really work well for “start boosting”. The electronics and 15amp wall socket has a hard time generating a consistent 200-300amps at 12v DC. In fact, it’s impossible to go over 120amps to be blunt and that IF the electronics could even keep up which they can’t without heavy duty stuff.
The charger also has a nice function to charge many different types of batteries like GEL, AGM, Flooded etc and yes is DOES make a difference and you SHOULD select the right type before charging. I probably won’t destroy the battery but it’s certainly not going to give you a quality charge of be good for the health of the battery,
One more surprise was seeing LIFEPO4 option! That’s a lithium Ion batter that uses an iron component with the lithium, hence the FE. They are used frequently in car audio applications and are great for RV’s, trolling motors etc Prepare to see a LOT of them in the future because they are incredibly stable as well. No blowing up.
I opened the unit up and all the electronics are on par with the brand names. No it’s not built like they were in the 70’s/80’s/90’s but nothing is anymore. The case is strong and not flimsy. Same for the wires and gator clamps for the battery.
I used the “restore” function on some 7ah 12v flooded lead acid batteries in my kids e-scooters and while it’s not going to restore a legit bad battery it did bring a lot more capacity back to batteries that were borderline being scrap. They can probably get a few more months out of them, maybe more if I got to them sooner. Seems it was able toe boil or burn off some of the corrosion on the internal plates. Not bad, not bad at all. Be good to do to an older battery that still works fine but it just aging. Probably extend the life another year or more.
Over all it’s a well built unit for the price with just enough technology to be helpful and not get in the way either. Awesome buy!

The Yinleader battery charger is a 0-20A 12V or 24V charger that will charge standard lead acid, AGM, Gel, deep cycle batteries and 12V LiFePO4 batteries. It is also a smart trickle charger and maintainer that includes battery repair for car, boat, motorcycle and lawn mower batteries.
This is a very versatile battery charger. I especially like that it works with AGM and GEL batteries that I use on my jet skis. The charger is rather light and easy to use. The screen is a little small though it does light up which helps when reading the menu. I have not used the battery repair mode option yet but want to see what if it would do anything for some dead Li-ion batteries I have. The charger does not have a jump start mode but has almost every other mode and combination for charging 12V and 24V batteries. I have been very happy with this charger and would order it again even without the jump start mode.
