I purchased the direct fit muffler with 16″ body in hopes that it would deliver the sound I was looking for without costing me as much as a Flowmaster FX. And with there being nearly no available information or reviews online, other than Amazon, I was a little hesitant. But I can tell you now that this muffler does not disappoint! The installation was fairly simple and straightforward, and the quality of the muffler is top notch. The most difficult part was removing the old muffler. This new direct fit muffler uses all the same hangers and went in with no issues. I did have a small gap/leak on both outlets where the exhaust pipes go in and get clamped, but I was able to slide the ends of the exhaust pipes just a little more to close that gap before clamping them down. This resulted in the exhaust tips being almost parallel with the outside/back of the bumper, which in my opinion looks better than when they used to stick out 2 inches or so from the bumper with the original exhaust system. The clamps themselves seem to be holding well and the sound is perfect! The muffler delivers the low rumble I was looking for without being obnoxious when cruising. When accelerating, it gives a nice low roar until you reach cruising speed and the cabin drone almost completely disappears by then as well. I would highly recommend the Floshine direct fit muffler to any 09-18 Ram 1500 owner that is looking for a little more aggressive tone from their exhaust without breaking the bank or settling for an obnoxious outcome that some “top brands” seem to deliver.

Looks good and sounds good. It’s a little quieter than I was expecting but nice deep throaty sound with no raspy noice. Only issues are pipes are a little short so the tip are sucked into the bumper about an inch and the slots for the alignment do not line up have to play with them and I ended up heating up a portion and flexing it to get it on them bending it back down. Overall it sounded great and I can fix the little issues easy if I decide to but just welding it.

Love the sound. A little louder than I expected but no complaints. Gives the Hemi a much needed sound boost and deep, old school V8 growl. Very quiet inside the cab at idle. Most noticeable inside at low RPM when accelerating. Audible at cruising speeds but not annoying. My wife didn’t take issue with it so that’s a win. Clamps are solid. Muffler build seems good. Had to grind the alignment nubs off of the tailpipes to get them in far enough to prevent leaks. Exhaust tips ended up maybe 1/2 inch forward after install but it’s tolerable.

This muffler is a great priced, high quality muffler. Welds are beautiful. Install was straight forward. Remove existing muffler, the hardest part. Replace with this muffler. Easy peazy. Everything lines up great with factory hangers and existing pipes. Mine did arrive in rough shape, I’m guessing due to delivery, not the item itself. Box was damaged, completely split open along the edge and one of the outlets was bent in. Luckily all hardware was still in box, and muffler was wrapped in foam wrap. So I just bent the outlet back to round with a pipe expander. Muffler has great sound, but not annoyingly loud. I pull camper, boat, and dune buggies, with the family, so I wanted to make sure it didn’t make long trips unbearable. Highly recommend this to be the replacement muffler you put on your “classic” ram 1500 with factory dual exhaust.

For the price, this is what I was looking for. Installed it in my 16 ram 1500, installing wasn’t that difficult. Removing the original exhaust took a long time but afterwards it was smooth installation. The sound is perfect, I haven’t noticed any drone noise. Roars when accelerating but very melow when cruising at highway speeds. I hope the fact that it’s painted also allows it to last longer.

Bought the 18” for a deleted Ecodiesel. Just barely louder than stock muffler. But certainly freer flowing – it is a true straight-through design, like magnaflow. I’m hoping for slightly better performance and fuel mileage from this.
As far as quality, it’s good. Fit and finish is on par with any other aftermarket muffler. I had to re-work and message the rest of the exhaust system to get everything just right. Trimmed a bit here and there, etc. no big deal.
All things considered, I might pick up a y-pipe eventually and get rid of the muffler altogether.
For an Ecodiesel, consider a 16” body or the Y-pipe. This 18” is just barely louder than stock, if it is at all. But I still believe it will outflow stock, since stock is a chambered and restricted design.

I recently installed the Floshine 409 Stainless Steel Two Chamber Exhaust Muffler Kit on my 2022 Ram 1500 Classic, and I’m blown away by the results! Despite being listed for 2009-2018 models, it fit my truck perfectly – direct bolt-on, no modifications needed.
The installation process was relatively straightforward, and the included instructions were helpful. It took some time and effort, but the end result was well worth it.
The sound is exactly what I was looking for – aggressive, but not obnoxiously loud. It’s perfect for those who want a bold exhaust note without drawing too much attention.
What really sets this muffler kit apart, though, is the price. I’ve seen similar setups costing twice as much, making this an unbeatable value for a muffler delete.
Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the Floshine 409 Stainless Steel Two Chamber Exhaust Muffler Kit. If you’re looking for an aggressive sound without breaking the bank, look no further! Five stars, hands down!

Was wanting something not too loud that doesn’t drone. This is perfect. Sounds mean when you get on it but otherwise isn’t too loud. Also it doesn’t have the annoying glass pack sound. Install took about 45min due to the wife searching for tools to hand me. Everything lined up perfect.

Though the product description was not clear on where it was made, the box made it perfectly clear it was from China. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The welds looks excellent, as do the pipe bends, and overall quality. I will update the review after it gets installed.
Update. Finally got the muffler installed. Was a direct fit so no issues with the install. If the stock muffler is a 0 and straight pipes is a 10, id give this muffler a solid 5 in terms of tone and volume.
