Not quite to oem dimensions or standards. Doesn’t like to stay clipped onto the cable but I finally modified it to work properly and stay connected

I have a motorbike that requires considerable hand strength, so bought this to use ported vacuum from intake manifold to assist in disengaging the clutch.

I have had to replace several of these actuators over the years. The rubber typically cracks after a few years of heavy abuse. This unit seems of similar quality as the others I have replaced. everything fits as expected and works. This is also a very good price. the rubber does feel slightly thinner than the OEM if I remember right and the spring seems weaker meaning it is easier to activate. Also the construction around the rubber diaphragm is better than i have seen.

This actuator fits and functions exactly like the original first did. It’s well-made; and the materials appear to be durable enough to last a long time.
This part is a direct replacement. They are usually sitting right below the battery tray. The battery and tray both need to be removed in order to access this part. If you push the straight end of the spring clip away from the center of the differential cable, the cable will pull right out. The bracket is attached with bolts that can be accessed inside the wheel well (just turn the wheels to the left, and you’ll be able to get at them). Remove the screws that hold the actuator to the bracket, and use them to attach the new one. Bolt the bracket back in place. The pin on the end of the differential cable has a groove in it. Just push it straight into the actuator’s steel shaft until the spring clip clicks into place. Give the cable a tug, just to make sure it’s locked-in. Then put the battery tray, battery, and battery cables back together; and the job is done.
