This unit is the right thickness and reinforced hump is just what you need to stay in place with heavily boosted applications. Other couplers that come with many intercooler piping kits tend to be silicone, but are about half the thickness and not reinforced. Those will eventually let you down and rip/blow out under boost, but not this one. The band clamps that also come with this coupler are a sweet bonus, and a must have over the regular style hose clamps, that also eventually fail. These will definitely clamp and keep a positive seal on both sides of the coupler connection. For the price it’s a good value. I believe that this product will stand up over time where others have failed.

Bought this for an existing air intake. The coupler is high quality, looks great, fit was perfect and the stainless steel hose clamps were also of high-quality. If you’re looking to improve your engine bay, look, I would go with these guys.
