Truth is, this is probably a 4.5+ star item. I only dropped a star because the instructions are minimal. BUT, if you’re reasonably careful and observant, installation is easy. The logo is bright and clear. Time will tell whether the color of the two blue sectors holds up over time, but the set is such a good value that I doubt I’ll be disappointed. Having a set of four for all four doors of my X2 made the purchase almost a have-to.
Removing the OE lights is simple; one end has a notch to catch with a screwdriver (if you want to be extra careful, use a trim tool or plastic knife); just pop it out. You’ll need a small pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the OE connector; just be gentle.
The new lights are NOT plug and play. You have to use the wiring adapter supplied. The end with the tiny pins plugs into the OE terminal. If you look at that terminal, there are only two wires incoming, plug the adapter into the holes for those two wires. Polarity does not matter. The adapter then plugs into the new light. You’ll be working with the door open, so the light will be hot (on) as soon as you make your connections. Shine the logo onto your hand so you can make sure it’s oriented correctly before you snap the new light into the door. The end with the larger “tab” should snap in second. Just repeat the process for the other doors.

These are super easy to pop in. I’ve bought other shadow lights on eBay for BMW and those didn’t fit the door opening properly and were a pain to deal with. These here fit perfectly. Installed them in a 2021 530i. Took all but 5 minutes. Hardest part is getting yourself positioned under the door. Don’t throw away the little connectors, you’ll need them.
The BMW logos they cast on the ground are much larger than expected, sharp looking and vibrant colors. A total upgrade for your BMW. Highly recommend these. Getting a lot of compliments

This does not fit a 2020 bmw 330i as stated. Quality is great but it does not fit my car. I also cannot return and that’s very upsetting. I purchased these when I had things getting done on my car and when I got it back was unable to use. UPDATE REVIEW. **** EXCELLENT customer service. They were able to ship me the correct size & fit for my car.

Amazing Quality…looks like it fits any BMW.. I put it in 535xi and X5 X drive.. Projection looks crisp clear even in evening with not completely dark.. worth buying it without thinking…you will not regret

These are very bright at night and work well as a replacement to traditional puddle lights. As expected, you cannot see these at all during the day, but I’ve never owned a brand of puddle lights like these that were visible during the day, it is simply too bright outside to make any of these lights visible. However in the garage or at night, they are very bright and clearly visible when you open your doors.
These also don’t make any strange high pitched noises when lit up like one of the other brands I purchased in the past did that I had to return. These are still working great 4 months later!
