These are made much like the Nippon-Denso OEM plugs in my car. They have the narrowed tip at the bottom of the ceramic insulator to improve the spark and make it less likely to misfire. These seem to be better than your typical AC Delco or Champion plugs. I was surprised these cost a little more than $4 each but then again, these are not the cheapies you buy on sale at your local parts store. These should provide another 100K miles for my car.
