I used this for my 1966 Mustang after repairing the floors and replacing the rear quarters. It went down easy and dried quickly. Paint went on with out a hitch.

Goes on easy, but if you are going to tool it, work VERY FAST…. it skims over VERY quickly…. says paintable in only 30 minutes! Wondering if the gent who left the 1-star review maybe pried the entire end off the bottom of the tube, which would weaken it (or if he got old, partially-dried-out tubes)
The instructions are vague – only says to “Remove end seal at the bottom of the tube”, and unfortunately they didn’t provide a pull-tab, nor any indication of how to do that. I punctured it with a small screwdriver then pried the snap-out seal, leaving the metal ring attached to the tube for strength (see photo). I had no problem with the tube collapsing, even using it in my electric caulk-gun.

As soon as I picked up this tube I thought “Hey – this tube is half empty!” I compared it to some older tubes I have and could easily tell that it is not full. After closer inspection, I noticed the older tubes are labelled “0.1 US gal/12.8 US fl oz/378 ml”; the new one is labelled “10 US fl oz/295 ml”. That’s almost 25% less.
The older and newer tubes are the same size, bear the same part number and even the same UPC number. It seems that 3M has quietly underfilled the tubes from 12.8oz to 10oz and kept the price the same.
Be warned: it is no longer a 1/10gal (12.8oz) tube like the description says.

Worked well to reattach my under hood supports to my Trans Am hood. . If applied too thick it takes a while to dry but works good.
