I’ve been using the 3M 05974 Rubbing Compound on my car, and I am absolutely impressed with the results! This product is highly effective in removing swirl marks, oxidation, and light scratches from the paint. After using it, the car looks like it just came out of the showroom!
The application is easy, and it works well with a dual-action polisher. I also noticed that it doesn’t leave any residue behind, which makes the final polish so much easier. The compound cuts effectively while leaving behind a smooth, glossy surface that’s definitely noticeable.
I really appreciate that this product is gentle enough not to damage the paint but still powerful enough to give excellent results. For anyone looking to restore or refine their vehicle’s finish, this 3M rubbing compound is an excellent choice.
