I heard some statements being made on the product page, so I gave it a try the car needed it. When I was done I was thoroughly and I mean thoroughly impressed with how the paint looked. I am not trying to be cliche but my car between the top coat to the bottom coat looked 3D’ish. I have had many comments about how good my car looked and when I get a compliment, I just glance over and say thanks cause it looks good. I used the pad on my dewalt oscillating sander between level 3-6 and it removed light scratching and any scuffs. All chips just seemed like they were minimized and appeared smaller, a wax function more than likely. I finished the car off with the polishing pad and I couldn’t be happier. Get this product, you will thank me later if you do.

As a professional detailer, 3D makes the best value for your money. This polishing and finishing pad paired with 3D’s polishes will inch out every last bit of gloss on your final steps of paint correction. I am also very surprised on how well this pad holds up as I have used this pad on at least 8 vehicles and it has yet to fall apart or fail!

Raise your hand if you think that the polishing pad sets can get a little too complicated and then to combine with the various polishes and compounds. My hand is up.
This 3D black pad seems very good for the fine polishing. 3D also offers other pads for coarser polishing or cut. This is positioned as a premium product so I will be scrutinizing it that way. So far, so good.
With 3D you can buy one good pad and use it a long time as opposed to some of the sets that are offered. This black pad is tough. I have no issues and expect to keep using on my cars for a long time. I want to try their light purple pad too. For my needs, I think the combination of those tow might be just all I need. I’m not a pro.
