Descrição do Produto: 3D Ceramic Coating Graphene Infused Kit – 30ml

The instructions say it’s best to apply by a professional and in a controlled environment. Unfortunately I do not have a garage or place to apply the coating nor am I a pro with ceramics. I have used the spray ceramics before and my car looked awesome for a long time, so I thought this would be the same.
Reading the instructions it states the surface needs to be free of contaminates, regrettably my car is affected by a mfg. white paint defect, and the entire car paint job has degraded at such an alarming rate, been advised by repair shops to hold off using the ceramic until the car is able to be repainted.
However, I do want to help others who aren’t in my situation and thoroughly researched how to apply 3D ceramic coatings. From what I’ve been told from numerous paint repairs shops it’s best to have the car coated when new or within a few years.
If your quest is to have a beautiful looking car, hope this is useful…
How to apply 3D Ceramic Coating Plus:———————————————————
1. Instruction state: Do not leave the bottle open at any time during the application process.
2. It is important to properly wash and decontaminate the cars surface.
3. It’s strongly recommended to apply the product in an enclosed area preventing dust and contaminants from sticking to the surface while applying.
4. Make sure the car surface is free of any oils and residues by wiping down the cars surface with a soft microfiber cloth.
5. Wrap the included suede applicator around the 3D block and apply enough coating to cover the flat surface of the suede applicator, but don’t over saturate the applicator.
6. Work in a 2′ x 2′ section at a time, use a cross hatch pattern (side to side/up and down strokes) to evenly spread the Ceramic Coating.
7. Wait 30 seconds to a minute, then buff the product off with a clean soft microfiber towel. If surfaces feels oily, wait a few more seconds and continue to buff again.
8. The removal timeframe is dependent on the temperature. The warmer the temperature and humidity the quicker you’ll need to remove as the temperature affects how quick it dries.
9. Apply more coating and keep repeating steps 6 and 7 until your finished covering the car with the ceramic coating.
**For best results, wait up to 5 days before washing your car.

3D is a well known and established name in the detailing industry. Since their products aren’t sold in the typical brick and mortar stores, the company is probably not as well known to the general public. They sell a full line of detailing products.
This 3D Ceramic Coating + Graphene Infused Kit (940CC) is their latest, upgraded version of their ceramic coating, replacing 935CC. 3D claims this to be their most resistant and durable coating. It is advertised to be both hydrophobic (repels water) and oleophobic (repels oils.) If those claims are true, it should help the paint stay even cleaner than the typical coatings, which claim to be hydrophobic only.
This product is made in the USA and comes supplied in a 30ml bottle, which is more than enough to coat an average car. It comes with the typical applicator block and suede applicator cloth, which is wrapped around the block. This uses far less product than a microfiber applicator which would absorb a lot more of the liquid.
Paint preparation is the key, if if it’s in or on the paint when you coat your vehicle, it will be there until the coating is removed and the defect corrected. Wash, chemically decontaminate, mechanically decontaminate (clay,) polish out imperfections and wipe down with a panel wipe prep or IPA/water mix.
Application of this 3D coating is a bit different than other ceramic coatings, especially in terms of removal times. 3D recommends applying it in the usual crosshatch pattern in 2′ by 2′ sections and to make a total of 4 passes with the applicator. Use a clean microfiber towel to level the coating in 30-45 seconds. That time is shorter than the typical flash time with ceramic coatings. Remember, you are wiping the paint to level the coating and eliminate high spots. You are NOT buffing off the product as you would with a wax.
Note: those leveling towels should never be used on paint again, ignore anything that says it’s OK as long as you get them into a bucket with water and detergent immediately. Ceramics are not water soluble.
I found this very pleasant to apply, a lot less “grabby” than some other graphene coatings I have used.
For added protection you can apply a second coat. You should wait 30 to 45 minutes before applying the second coat.
Don’t wash the car for at least 3 days, 5 is recommended.
Gloss is excellent and the coating is very hydrophobic. If I this last 3+ years, 3D has a really good coating here.

Detailing your car is a meticulous job. I’ve used polishers with the orbital machines and such. I kind of got tired of doing it twice every year to my car and came across ceramic coatings. Yes, you should probably get the swirl marks off your car first before you apply for best results, but I was hoping for a ‘quick’ fix. For me this worked very well. I just washed my car and used a clay bar to get rid of any more contaminants and applied it. The swirl marks are almost all gone. Obviously not perfect because I did not use compound and polisher, but I am impressed at how glossy my car looks just with this, so I’ll save 8 hours of my time and just use this from now on!

Got a new pickup and had the product applied right away. Very nice, rain beads off nicley. Cleaning vehicle is simple, bugs come right off.

This product does require some knowledge on how to prepare a car for a ceramic coating as well as how to properly apply one. I would definitely consider this a professional grade product that isn’t “Consumer Friendly” in that it requires someone to be familiar with the process in order to get the best results.
The results that this product does yield is outstanding. We’ll see how longevity goes in the hard winters of the midwest, but so far so good. It also makes keeping the car super easy since it pretty much just needs to be sprayed down. One thing to note is that the vial should be shaken beforehand since there are some particles that will fall out of suspension.
