Just like the OEM one I took out as far as I can tell. It went in perfectly and had a perfect fit and function. The original one had over 200K miles on it before it started to make noises, if the rest of the engine lasts that much longer hopefully this will too!

Part broke once I was installing it. The e14bolt is not an e14 it was smaller so the e14socket I had slipped and didn’t catch on to it

The pulley bolt stripped as I was trying to install a new belt. Luckily I was able to use my impact to swap the bolt from the original tensioner onto the new one. Works pretty well now.

The bolt holding the pulley on this is substantially smaller then the factory bolt for the pulley. Mine stripped but luckily I was able to use the larger one from the factory and swap them out. Turned out better that way but I was not expecting such a tiny little bolt when I went to release the tension to slide the belt on.

Regardless that Amazon says it doesn’t fit my vehicle, it does – it fits the 2014 Chevy Cruze LS 1.4T perfectly. If you need a tensioner and have the 2011 to 2015 version of this vehicle, look no further and don’t waste up to $140 on the OEM part, get this perfect clone instead.
