Miguel –
My KT745 Kohler engine on a Toro Titan mower stopped firing on one cylinder. I verified it was spark vs fuel so I ordered this ignition module based on the description alone that states it is a replacement for the 32-584-25-S. When I received the module, I removed the engine shroud, and it was immediately apparent that this module is not physically compatible.
Although this “might” actually function on the KT745 twin Kohler, it is NOT a direct replacement for the stock 32-584-25-S.
1) The ignition wire is much too long. The 32-584-25-S stock wire is about 7.1″ from module to plug boot, while this one is 14.4″ (even though the description says 13.74*).
2) the kill terminal should be on top, the same side as the plug wire, but it is on the opposite side of the module.
Again, this may function on a KT745, but it’s not a drop-in replacement for the 32-584-25-S.
It looks to be a very high quality encapsulated coil pack though. I just can’t use it for the intended purpose.
Before ordering, make sure your existing ignition coil/module and the replacement look similar.
