Grabbed this since my BRAND NEW Scepter Gas Can leaks.
(bought from lowes on 10/8 and went to pour it on 10/31 and found that gasoline just poured everywhere.
I grabbed this since i liked the green and it included everything.
The flexible nozzle has good rigidity, but when i used it was just 3-6 inches too short.
(you dont realize this when you buy it or install it)
the breather opening is straight forward, find a location that the gas doesn’t touch when its full (or moving) and shouldn’t touch gasoline when being poured, for me that was the back under the handle.

breather isn’t good quality (2 weeks after install, mine broke)
cap doesn’t have a gasket to help seal it

when FULLY torqued down, it didn’t leak (for me)
multiple copies, i would argue 1 set for 1 can, since some copies will wear out/aren’t great.

Like everybody else, I think the florescent green looks really cool. The new gas can standard making the sale of gas cans with vents illegal, shows again how ignorant the people in charge (This time, the EPA) really are. Also, thanks to the California Air Resources Standards for starting this crap in 2009. The new non-vented cans actually make pouring gas more difficult and more times than not, lead to spilling gas, which not only releases fumes, but can be a slipping or fire hazard etc…, the same as the vented cans sometimes do… Now, with that said, back to the review. The cap’s are made of PP (Polypropylene) and the gaskets are made of rubber. The rest of the kit is made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). All 3 materials are known for they’re impact resistance and durability. The drill bit is the perfect size for the vent cap that snaps in tight after drilling the hole. The kit includes everything in the listing and will fit most all U.S. made gas cans, no matter how old they are. Life is Good!! This Gas Can Spout Kit Rates High on the Claydog Approval Scale!! Maybe we’re old-fashioned, but we rather miss the older type gas cans with the bendable spouts…. enter these “adapters”.
They fit both on our yellow diesel cans and our red gas cans and switching them out was straightforward and easy.
What we gained: the flexibility of these spouts are allowing us to pour with greater precision and in weirder angles. The gaskets and selection of vent-caps makes them compatible with all our fuel tanks.
This is a great product that has brought our re-fueling back to “simpler” times 🙂

Modern fuel can nozzles are terrible and don’t flow very well in the name of safety and vapor control. You end up getting frustrated enough that you just take the nozzle off and risk splashing fuel rather than finish going bald or becoming eligible for retirement while you wait for your gallon of fuel to pour out in glugs and splats.
This kit is complete and comes with a drill bit to create the proper size hole to install the vent. It has both fine and coarse thread caps that should fit 99 percent of fuel cans on the market. I selected this set for the green nozzles so I could identify my 2-stroke chainsaw and trimmer fuel at a glance. I use the yellow nozzles for my regular unleaded for 4-stroke use.
I used two of the three for my fuel cans and have kept the third as a spare for the inevitable cracking that will happen after several years of use and exposure to gasoline.
