My 2009 Honda Fit is the first car we have owned with a cabin air filter. Every time I get an oil change they want to change that filter and they quote an exorbitant price. The high cost led me to think that it was a complicated job. A dealer quoted me $45 plus the part once. I never changed it. Now, fourteen years later, I found out there is absolutely nothing to it. I watched a video. It took that person two minutes to change the filter.
Anyway, I received three of these filters that cost less than the shops wanted for one. Since I had never changed our cabin air filter there was fourteen years-worth of junk in the glove compartment. I emptied all that onto the floor, squeezed the sides of the compartment, unclipped and slid out the tray, changed the filter, and that was it.
As nearly as I can tell, these filters are exactly the same as the original (under fourteen years of crud). Very easy job. Be careful when you take out the old filter not to dump any of that crud down into the fan and pay attention to the arrows for air flow direction. Why didn’t I do it sooner?
These filters are a solid value. Recommended.

Like so many others, I have been victimized by shops charging you big bucks just to change this simple filter. On top of that, the OEM filter is generally more $$$ than this set of three filters will run you. It’s a no-brainer. If you don’t know how to change one, trust me–it is extremely easy, as easy as changing the filter in your heater…just slide out the old one, and slide in the new one. If you don’t believe me, look it up on YouTube. And then order these filters…if you look at other brands, you will see that this set represents probably the best value out there.

They came with instructions, though the shop manual also covers it.
They do a good job at filtering out all the wildfire smoke and also helped fix the problem of my AC cutting out on longer trips.
