Worked great jumping a near dead battery. Car would power on but trying to turn over it would lose power on the dash and not start. I plugged this adapter in and it cranked right away using a half charged dewalt 20v 6.0ah battery I keep in my trunk for work tools. Started right up. I tried it with the 2.0ah on a full battery and it kinda struggled to start but it did work. One thing to note is there’s no on/off switch. So technically on e you plug the adapter to the battery the alligator jaws are “hot”. So make sure not to touch anything and definitely don’t let the pos/neg touch.
Also it came with a dc plug for cig lighters. I dont know how its meant to be used with anything other than an external power source with a dc12v plug. Definitely not gonna jump a car using it.

Seeing that this jumper set relies on a blade and slot type terminal, I’d say watch out for overdrawing on the battery and adapter. These do work though. I tested this using a Milwaukee 8.0 AH M18 battery on a 2.5L 5 cylinder.
I primarily got this as an emergency use type of tool for my SxS out on the trail.
The sad reality is that these are the same gauge (or even larger) as the cheap jumper cables available at places. Smaller gauge than I’d like, but for the price, it should work well for it’s intended purpose.
