Product Reviewed: 3/4” x 12′ Fuel Transfer Hose, Farm Fuel Hose Fluid Oil Pump/Tank Tube Hose Black for Dispensing Diesel Gasoline Kerosene Biodiesel for $38 less %5 coupon
TL;DR; Feels like a gas station hose; Flexible in a cool shop;
I need one of these to replace some fuel filler hose on my gas and Diesel systems.
This hose has a nice commercial feel to it. It’s similar to a gas hose at your local self serve station. The hose is fairly flexible in my cool shop at around 50 and appears to be either rubber or a hybrid. I find the temperature range given quite credible but I did not test it further.
No surprises here and I find this to be reasonably economical at the quality point. 5 stars.
How I review:
Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points.
– 0 for value but I try to provide guidance
-0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel
-0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution
I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range.
If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings.

The 3/4” x 12′ Fuel Transfer Hose is a heavy-duty, versatile hose designed for transferring various types of fuels and fluids, including diesel, gasoline, kerosene, and biodiesel. This hose is primarily used in farm, automotive, and industrial applications, making it a solid option for anyone who requires a durable and reliable fuel transfer solution. Here’s a detailed review:
Pros:
Versatile Compatibility: The hose is designed to handle a wide range of fuels and liquids including diesel, gasoline, kerosene, and biodiesel. This versatility makes it suitable for farm fuel transfer, vehicle refueling, or industrial fluid dispensing, offering a one-size-fits-all solution for various needs.
Durable Construction: The hose is made from high-quality materials that are durable and resistant to the wear and tear associated with fuel dispensing. The reinforced construction helps it withstand pressure, prevent kinks, and resist cracking or splitting over time, even with frequent use.
Long Length (12 feet): With a 12-foot length, this fuel transfer hose provides enough flexibility and range for a variety of fueling or fluid transfer tasks. Whether you’re fueling up a tractor, vehicle, or equipment, this length allows you to reach your tank or container without being overly restrictive. It provides a good balance between portability and versatility.
Wide Compatibility with Fuel Pumps: The 3/4-inch diameter of the hose is compatible with most common fuel transfer pumps, tank systems, and dispensing equipment. This ensures that you won’t need to buy any specialized adapters to make it work with your existing fueling system.
Weather and Chemical Resistance: The hose is designed to be resistant to various weather conditions and chemical exposure, which is especially important when using it outdoors or for transferring different types of fuel. It resists degradation caused by sunlight, UV rays, and other environmental factors, making it durable for long-term use.
Safe for Fuel Handling: The hose is designed to safely handle flammable liquids like gasoline, diesel, and biodiesel. It helps prevent leakage, which is crucial for safety and environmental protection. This hose is constructed to minimize the risk of spills, making it safer to use in various fueling applications.
Lightweight and Easy to Handle: Despite its heavy-duty construction, the hose is relatively lightweight, making it easy to maneuver and coil when not in use. Its flexibility ensures that it can be moved and positioned without too much effort, even when working in tight spaces or with bulky equipment.
Cons:
Limited to 3/4″ Diameter: While the 3/4-inch diameter is perfect for most fuel transfer pumps and tanks, it might not be suitable for applications that require a larger diameter hose to transfer fuel at a higher volume or faster rate. If you need to dispense large quantities of fuel quickly, a hose with a wider diameter might be necessary.
Durability Concerns Under Extreme Conditions: While this hose is durable, some users may find that it doesn’t perform as well in extremely low temperatures or under very high pressures. If you are working in a particularly harsh environment or with high-pressure systems, it’s important to check the specifications to ensure the hose can handle the conditions.
May Not Be Ideal for High-Flow Applications: If you are using this hose for high-flow applications (i.e., transferring a large volume of fuel in a short amount of time), the 3/4-inch diameter might be restrictive. For faster fuel dispensing, a larger hose may be required to meet your needs.
Potential for Kinking Under Tight Bends: Though the hose is designed to be flexible, like most hoses, it may still kink under tight bends or improper handling. This can potentially restrict fluid flow and cause damage to the hose over time. Proper care and storage can help minimize this issue, but it’s something to consider when using it for long-term operations.
No Internal Reinforcement for High-Pressure: While the hose is suitable for general fuel transfer, it may not have the reinforced internal layers needed for high-pressure systems, especially if you’re handling pressurized fuel lines. For use with pumps that deliver fuel at a high pressure, you may want to look into a hose with enhanced internal reinforcement.
Overall Verdict:
The 3/4” x 12′ Fuel Transfer Hose is a solid choice for general fuel transfer, especially in farm, industrial, or vehicle refueling applications. It offers great versatility in handling multiple types of fuels, is durable, and provides safe dispensing for a variety of fluids. The 12-foot length offers plenty of flexibility for most fueling needs, and the 3/4-inch diameter is a great fit for standard fuel transfer pumps and systems.
While it may not be suitable for high-flow applications or environments requiring extreme pressure handling, it excels as an all-purpose fuel hose for general use. If you’re in need of a reliable, affordable hose for fuel dispensing, the 3/4” x 12′ Fuel Transfer Hose is a great option, but make sure it fits your specific fueling needs in terms of diameter and pressure requirements.
Overall, this fuel transfer hose is a highly functional and reliable tool for standard fueling tasks, and with proper care, it should serve you well for years to come.

Purchased this because I needed a 20′ hose. Had issues with getting the shutoff to work at first. Seems to be working better now but not as trip happy as higher quality ones. Not going to trust it, but it might save you a spill if you get distracted.
