Gregory P. Stewart –
I used this to do a brake job on a 1998 Chevy S10. I bought a roll of this in 1/4″ for the run from the master cylinder to the back center hose and a roll of 3/16″ for all four corners. You don’t really even need tools to shape the lines, like you would with stainless lines. This stuff is so malleable that you can shape it with your bare hands. By buying a roll of each size and some flare fittings, I have enough left over to replace all the lines in my other truck (2000 Silverado). I got everything (including tools and fittings) for $200. My coworker just paid $400 to have it done at a garage. It’s easier than you think, to do it yourself.

This is the best brakeline, period.Easy to shape & flair the ends.I will not use any other type.I have used all type of brakeline,Stainless Steel, steel, coated steel and this by far is better. No corrosion through harsh & salted Ohio winters as well.

This is a nickle copper alloy line, it is easy to bend, easy to flare, quick to work with, and never rusts. I used a cheap brake line flaring tool and made quick excellent flares without any leaks on my first try. I will even be doing preventative maintenance on cars to replace the crummy steel lines known for rusting out before they fail with this stuff.

This is the stuff to use. I will never suffer trying to use steel brake lines again.
Really easy to flare, easy to bend, you can re-bend it if you make a mistake! You can practically pull it like coax.
I bought enough to do my entire car, restoring a 1983 VW GTI. I expect to have leftovers.

I bought this stuff to put new brake lines on my 1955 Willys Wagon and it worked as advertized. Easy to double flare and bend.

Bought this S. U. R. 3/16” flexible copper brake line and also a lisle 33260 brake line flare tool with case and man I couldn’t be happier with both of these. Perfect flares every time and very easy no frustration

This brake line makes it easy to make the bends without kinks, and not hard to make the flares.
