I’ve tried this dual USB car charger, and it’s quite handy for keeping my devices powered while on the go. The fast charging feature works well, and it handles both Android and iOS devices at a good speed. It fits snugly into my car’s cigarette lighter socket without any wobbling, even when driving over bumps or making sharp turns, which is a plus.
The charger is built with safety in mind, having features like overcharge protection and temperature control. It also adjusts the current automatically for non-QC 3.0 devices like my iPhone, ensuring a safe, quick charge without worrying about overheating or damage.

This is not CarPlay. It will not convert a wired CarPlay to wireless, nor will it operate as Apple CarPlay at all. It comes preloaded with an android operating system, and once installed, changes your screen to look like what I would guess Android Auto would look like. Nothing works correctly, or at all. It’s so painstakingly slow trying to navigate, I gave up completely.
Plus, if you have a car without a touch screen, it’s impossible to navigate at all. I have a 2019 Lexus with nav pad. It’s not a touch screen. There is no way to scroll through anything. I found by accident, a light tap will sometimes work to select something, but the normal “click” will not select what you’re hovering over. And scrolling from page to page is not possible.
I threw away the box and don’t feel right about returning it, but I don’t feel right about allowing anybody to buy this thinking it will in anyway operate as Apple CarPlay. It’s a useless waste of money and will never be used.
Also note. I don’t claim to understand exactly how this works, but it appears to have its own operating system and processor. It essentially takes over for your phone. So instead of a thousand dollar phone operating everything, this unit becomes the operating system, and it’s so slow, I can’t see it working as a usable alternative even if you are looking for Android Auto.

This unit works with no apparent problems. I like the way the voltage is shown in the display. The unit switches off when the car ignition is off so chance of draining the battery by mistake (in my car anyway).
Twin USB-A outlets give some extra flexibility to charging multiple devices.

This works great, installed and had it set up within 3 minutes of getting it out of the box. Only reason it got a 4 is because it will randomly disconnect or not pull the phone audio from my cell phone. Otherwise this thing is awesome, would recommend to anyone if they asked.

I plugged it into a cigarette light socket which is technically not powered when the ignition is off. Strangely it light up the blue ring around the edge. Odd as it did not display the voltmeter and could not charge anything like this. Although it may be to do with the car, I find it odd that this lights up when it should be completely off and that raises the possibility of a small draw on the battery.
With the ignition on, the voltmeter was displayed and charging started. The lighting and voltage display is quite bright which may be distracting at night.
It was able to charge my charge my phone at its fastest speed (i.e. super rather than just fast charging).
I like the idea of having a voltmeter, but I’m not sure about the accuracy of these. It read 11.5V when the ignition was turned on. I had a trickle charger with a voltmeter hooked up at the same time. That was reading about 12.2V while charging at the same time.
But the voltmeter on this item did gradually catch up to much closer to the voltage indicated on the trickle charger. Maybe it’s fine, just takes a while to stabilise.
I can’t give a whole-hearted recommendation because of the lighting up without the ignition on, and slightly questionable voltmeter. But other reviewers seem to tink the voltmeter is accurate, so don’t be put off trying if it floats your boat.
I did get another of these which was faulty (lighting flickered), so don’t expect high and consistent quality. Given these are easy to return and cheap for what they are, that’s probably not a huge issue, but might raise a doubt about reliability.

I received a used one ! Someone must’ve returned it from reading the reviews. I probably got theirs ! The box was open . Open wires was used and very poorly made apps came up. Nothing worked look like a kid designed it. Hopefully they don’t give it to next buyer.

The charge rate appears to be good from the car. When you plug in 2 USB leads, it will of course split the load to compensate, so bear that in mind.
The quality seems to fine, and the build is good. I am not sure about the accuracy of the display. It seems pointless.

Nice 12v to USB 5V charger. Now that most portable electrical items are USB charged, having USB charging ports in the car/van/motorhome has become the normal. All of our vehicles have 12v cigarette lighter style aux outlets but the built-in USB 5V are all associated with the audio systems.
These 12v-5V converters are ideal for keeping in the glovebox. This Unit has a volt indicator on the front which is slightly out of tolerance by around 0.2v, but its only an indicator of the main battery so not important to the operation of the device.
5V outputs are very stable and no power drop when using both the USB ports. No fluctuation on the 5v when the alternator is outputting.
If I were to give a negative it would be the blue illumination LED ring around the face plate. If the cigarette light was in a location that reflected on the windscreen, this would be a real problem at night.

I installed this in my truck it works perfect I drove down the street and within 5 minutes my radio started flashing a picture of my truck and a bunch of children’s apps left on my radio it doesn’t work
