This 8AWG quick disconnect cable set is handy for connecting and disconnecting batteries from chargers or loads. The connectors connect and disconnect like they should with a solid feel to them. The ring lugs are a bit on the thin side for 50 Amp service, but they are adequate. I’ve used these to recharge a 100AH battery at a 25 Amp charge rate, and they didn’t even get warm. I would have liked this item more if the cables were a bit longer and if the ring lugs were made from thicker metal, but all in all, these do the job just fine. Nice cable set.

We used these Anderson connectors to wire up a 12v fridge that we use for car camping. We ran wires all the way from the battery to the back of the SUV. Now any time we want a sturdy connection to power that can take some abuse we have it ready to go. The other end is wired onto our Dometic fridge which accepts 12v power and this is the quickest most foolproof way to quickly connect it to power and hit the road.
