This scratch repair kit is great. It comes with everything you need to gets scratches out, cream and sponges. The directions are easy to follow. I think this would work great for light surface scratches. I used it on sone deeper scratches where the paint is off and it cleared it up sone but nothing I can do about where the paint is chipped.

Follow the instructions to a T but it just didn’t shine out any scratch you can still see them it gave the rest of the body a nice shine just didn’t do anything for the scratches.

This repair wax works inconsistently. When I applied it to the new scratch from last week, it didn’t work at first for about five minutes. Just as I was about to give up, I noticed the black mark seemed a little smaller. Encouraged, I continued working on the same spot for almost 15 minutes. Success! It worked! Elated, I moved on to the older scratches, some nearly a year old. Unfortunately, after 40 minutes of the same process, I saw no improvement. Feeling defeated, I gave up.
Therefore Yes or NO????? I guess it depends…………I really dont know either! >,<

While this is advertised for scratch removal, it is obviously not magic. It does not work well on older scratches that have settled in because there is almost no paint left to be waxed over. It also does not work on deeper scratches as this doesn’t have any pigment in and of itself. As a result, it will just leave your car looking shinier but with a scratch underneath. The included sponge and wipe are decent but nothing special. They absorb the wax okay and help to really get it on. If you are looking for something to quickly detail your car, then this is okay, but if you want something to buff out scratches or cover up blemishes, then I would suggest getting some touch-up paint first and then applying this. There are also some waxes that have a little bit of pigment in them but those don’t work great either. Overall, these types of waxes that are advertised for scratch removal or repair tend to get your hopes high only to disappoint, but they are good for giving it a shine.
