Bought these for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, with the 4.0l. Purchased the Jeep roughly 3 months ago. Every suspension piece and bushing was original with 170k miles. Beyond worn out. Original factory control arms didn’t have a true round sleeve like these do. I believe this caused the original bolts to rust & seize badly. Requiring me to cut the bolts out front and back. The stamped metal of these new ones feel solid. These bushings ride much better too. Definitely worth the buy if replacing for stock units.

Ball joint seemed good. Side bushing holes wouldn’t line up. While prying the control arm to line up bolt holes the rubber in one of the bushings tore. The other one will probably tear as well from the loaded stress. Next, when trying to refasten the brake and e brake lines to the arm the bolts wouldn’t fit because holes were too big. Had to drill new ones in the steel with sef tappers. I’ll just have to live with it. I didn’t want to take it back out. At least no more clunk in the rear when hitting pot holes. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Was servicing the wife’s 01 WJ and noticed all the bushings in the front end were shot, had bought a set from AutoZone a few years back and they were ok but was tight on a budget this time around and found these, figured hey worth a shot got them straight to my shop really quick install would smooth as butter and for the final test drive rock solid, drives better than factory and I’ve worked on a lot of them, hands down great product

When my old trail arms had rusted through causing some issues with the rear end, I was kind of surprised at the quality of the metal as the factory ones were just not made of anything substantial. These replacements are heavier by a huge margin and the bushings far more substantial.
Very happy with my purchase.
