Replaced coil packs on my kohler engine. Motor wouldn’t shut off ran on its own once starred. Bought new ones at mower shop worked great

They didn’t work on my kt745-3031 Kohler. I bought another set from lawnmower shop and they worked. I couldn’t return these because my 30 days was past. Why do they have the same part# for mine but wouldn’t work. Are they made badly so it doesn’t push enough current to my mower. My mower wouldn’t even start with these new ones on it.
