I added this to a truck bed mounted fuel tank/ pump that’s used for filling heavy equipment on site. The swivel is well made, has a good finish, and the threads are cut right, allowing for a leak free connection without the need for sealants. It performs flawlessly and saves the hose from getting looped and tangled as it’s passed across, over, and under equipment while in use. Before adding the swivel in, that meant at the end of filing you had to carefully untangle the hose to get it back onto the holder, while trying to avoid wearing some red diesel! Now the nozzle is able to rotate at the end of the hose and keeps things smooth and easy, and more importantly keeps the hose straight and spill free.

This appears to be a well build flex fitting for 1” fuel transfer lines. A powder coated zinc body with a brass threaded male fitting on one end and zinc threaded female on the other. It’s a little stiff right out of the box, but that’s to be expected with a new swivel that has yet to get broken-in. It will suit my purposes just fine.

This was very easy to set up to one of my existing gas nozzles. Very nice that it can rotate freely as opposed to having a kinked hose (before I had this swivel). This is heavy duty and will easily stand up to the elements. No nonsense fitting with a high quality finish.

I have a fuel tank for supplying gasoline to various pieces of equipment. There is a fuel swivel where the fuel hose attaches to the nozzle, but not where the hose attaches to the pump outlet. In a little over a year of use, a well-known name brand (read: expensive) fuel hose has developed an irreparable leak at the crimped hose fitting. I believe that this failure occurred due to the torsion experienced by the hose, so I acquired this GRYVOZE 3/4 Inch NPT Fuel Hose Swivel. I chose this brand from among the many because I have a GRYVOZE Digital Turbine Fuel Flow Meter and have had no problems with it.
This fuel hose swivel has good fit and finish, and swivels smoothly in multiple planes. The moving interfaces seem close fitting, but not so tight as to restrict movement. There are no burrs or rough edges, and the threads seem well formed. I always use a UL-listed soft set thread sealant approved for use with gasoline, so I don’t worry about leaks at the threads. Only time will tell if the pivot joints will eventually leak, but there is no sign of leakage so far nor do I expect any. If you want to get the most life out of your expensive fuel transfer hoses, I recommend placing a fuel hose swivel at each end. As a side benefit, it makes the hose much easier to use. If this had been done when the fuel hose was first installed, I don’t believe I would be replacing it now. Learn from my cheapskate mistake and put one of these fuel hose swivels at each end of your fuel hose. It’ll save you time, money, and frustration later.

I’ve had these on my truck for a couple months now and not one issue. In fact, they have made dealing with my fuel nozzle 100000 times better. Easy to maneuver and no more sharp bend / kink in the hose at the nozzle when I’m fueling up high.
This is a must have product, buy them now!

Purchased to connect a gasoline hand nozzle to our farm gas pumping station. The old unit would not twist, and it was a bear trying to twist the hose itself especially when pumping into tractor or pull behind power equipment with under hood tank access. Since installing pumping gas has been so much effort free and time savings, md no ore kinked hoses.
Pros:
– Excellent quality, unit has a type of powder coating surface that prevents corrosion.
– Fitting threads were dead accurate to size and threaded smoothly. No burs or misaligned threads, nice smooth CNC cuts
– Performance is good, the item rotates smoothly,and most importantly no leaks from either the threads or the rotational part of the connector
CONs:
– Theaded MPT portion probably could be a bit shorter, mine bottomed out with a full third of the threads still showing. Of course some sockets have a deeper threaded surface, so I suppose this is to accommodate those types of applications.
TIP: Make sure to use a pipe dope compound on the threads, and one that is proper for the material that will transit the pipe. Regular plumbers tape doesn’t work well for these larger threads, and pipe dope will evenly fill the gaps and seals better for pressurized applications.
Overall I highly recommend this product. The quality and operational use are top notch, and it provides great quality of value for the money over the big box store prices.
