This combination USB charger and lighter plug is the perfect choice when you need a surface mount solution. It is well built and sturdy.
The unit has a short wiring pigtail with an inline fuse.
The base is 4 inches wide and mounts to a flat surface using 2 screws. Allow at least 2 1/4″ of overall depth space.
It has a large LED lit on/off switch on top center.
This is a great alternative when an in-dash solution is not practical.

Not much to say on this, except it works perfect. Easy to install with nice long leads, accurate voltage reading. Use it to power my 12v WiFi router.

It is a sleek little package with a lighted power switch and hidden volt meter between the USB ports. The “cigarette” power port is smooth and made of reasonably high-quality materials. It comes with some short self-taping screws, and two spare 10A fuses that can be installed into the in-line holder. The tips of the wires are tinned and ready to solder.
The two things I’m not fond of: The V meter reads high (two images included showing my calibrated power supply vs the display on this device. And there is NO information attached to the device telling us what the max current is for the whole thing, or for any of the USB ports.
