As I have had some free time, I have taken on some projects that were being ignored – something here, something there. While it’s nice to finish up one small project and move to another, I found that several materials (some paints, adhesives, and so on) take such a small amount that the rest of the bottle goes to waste as it may be several months – even years – before I need to use it again. Just over the last few months, a bottle of cyanoacrylic glue, some linseed oil, and a tube of caulking needed to be tossed as they were not longer viable.
So, when I saw some threadlockers in individual small vials, I was thrilled. Ordered them and tried them out on a couple of sights that needed mounting and some nut and bolt combinations that kept loosening. Ideal. Each vial is enough for more than one application, but is not so much that you’ll be trying to hold onto it for month. 25 vials of blue and 25 vials of red threadlocker, which have seemed as good as the name brand, for just $8 (Jan 2025) should last me for quite some time without wasting product.
Good price, comparable to name brand, and small vials are resealable for single or just a few uses and can then be tossed without wasting a whole bottle. I rate this as a very good buy!

I use thread locker often, but nto often enough for the larger bottlers to not dry out. The WoBiogHo 2ml *50 Pack Threadlocker Blue 242 & Red 271 solves my problem completely as I can open the smaller bottles of thread locker as needed and mostly use them at teh time so no worries about a larger container drying up. Great idea at a reasonable cost.

Before using this product, I tested how well the Red and Blue locker worked on a couple of screw and nut assemblies, one a 10-32 and the other a 1/4-20, letting it cure for about 8 hours.
The Red, higher strength, product was very secure. I twisted the #10 screw off before the nut released, and the 1/4″ assembly was extremely difficult to break free. I did not test to see if heating the assembly would ease the disassembly as the instructions indicate.
The Blue product was also quite agressive. I used enough material to fully cover all the overlapping threads in the assemblies. Both screw sized released, but it took a lot of torque to break them free. I suggest using a minimum of material if it is envisioned that the screw will need to be disassembled – if the full length of a longer screw were sealed it would never come apart, even with the Red material.
To me, the break torque stated on the label is, at best, a relative guide. The actual break torque will totally depend on how much product is used and how much of the engaged threads is covered.
I like that the material comes in little tubes, as they are very easy to use and control placement. A case is included.
Price is very competitive, so this seems like a good option to me.

I needed some threadlocker for a project and got this set. It arrived quickly and the product is good quality. I used the blue medium-strength threadlocker on some nuts on my telescope mounting brace and after 24 hours, the nuts were held firm and could only be removed by using a tool, like a ratcheting screwdriver with a nut attachment, and some elbow grease. It was surprisingly difficult to break the bond, which is what you’d want with a threadlocker. I think the blue compound would be sufficient for almost anything I’d do using a threadlocker since it holds so well.
I also tested out the red high-strength threadlocker on a larger bolt assembly, and that stuff is strong once it cures! I could not get the bolt to loosen using a ratcheting screwdriver. Probably a larger and proper wrench could have loosened the bolt. I didn’t apply heat to break the threadlocker since the bolt was attached to something I didn’t want to heat up. So essentially the connection using the red threadlocker will be semi-permanent, which is exactly what it is designed to do.
Overall, this is a good value. You are essentially getting 50 mL (2 mL x 25) of each type of threadlock compound (for a total of 100 mL) for the price of what you would pay for just 6 mL of one type of the name-brand threadlock at a retail store. And since each 2 mL tube is separate and self-contained, you don’t have to open an entire bottle of threadlock for a small project. These little tubes have a cap to seal them after use and you can easily toss them into a gear bag, tool bag, or range bag and have threadlocker with you on the go.
Since I don’t use large volumes of threadlocker in my projects, I think this one set will last me a decade or two before I need to buy more threadlocker.

The glue seems to be as strong as needed. The tubes are much easier to use on small screws than a large bottle and they reseal securely after use.

I can count on both hands the number of times i have needed a thread locker in my life, but almost all of those times I had to run out and buy it because I either lost it or it had went bad from sitting so long. With this kit i can keep it inside with temperature control and use a vile as needed. I think the others had went bad from sitting in my uninsulated garage over the years and seeing below zero temps as well as summer days in the upper 90s. This kit comes in a nice think plastic case that i was able to just put in my closet for storage and possible allow it to last quite a bit longer than the other stuff i have had. I will say i have only used one vile of the blue medium strength so far but from my observation it is identical to the other bigger name brands that i have used. I will come back and update my review if/when I use more or have an issue with what i did use. But i don’t see any reason for concern, I think this product will work just fine as long as its used as directed.
