I used them on the heavy doors of my RV. I did have to cross reference them because mine were master lifts, but they ended up a perfect fit. The directions that were included made it a simple replacement. Shipping time was short and I do recommend them.

These are well made and exactly as described. Great price and fit on my 2017 Jayco Redhawk 29xk. No issues and easy install. I only needed one, but having a standby is alway a better way to go.

The tonneau cover on my truck had some gas struts that were approaching 20 years old, and they no longer gave the same lift, almost to the point the cover would close by itself instead of being held open. Not great.
I got the measurements of the old struts and ordered this pair. Replacement is super easy, just remember to prop open whatever you’re working on so it doesn’t come slamming down. Replace one at a time, and you’re good to go.
The new ones are definitely stronger and I’m using more force to pull it closed, but the originals were probably that way and I’ve just forgotten. I’m sure these will “loosen” up in time as well and give me a good balance of open/close level of effort.

These hydraulic cylinders work great and very easy to install using the instructions provided. I use them on the back shutter doors on my outdoor kitchen and they work perfectly.
