To my surprise, this and the other lower solenoid corrected the shift issue in my 2003 honda crv upon test drive. It had been shifting hard and surging rpm, and once it was hot, it would not shift into overdrive and basically shut down. I also replaced the transmission filter which is not attached to the transmission and in the same area. Now it shifts smooth, no issues. No idea how long they will last, but at least now I know what the issue is.
