Part performance is great, no issues at all. Most importantly, very thankful that I no longer have to let my window down to open my door from the outside.
I am mechanically inclined, but never had to fix a latch issue before. I was anxious not knowing how much a headache it would be. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was though by taking one extra step that does not have to be done. However, I don’t know how easy it would be without doing. I took the screws out of the latch to make it easier to see to the latch and to attach the cable. For attaching the cable to the inside handle it is easy enough just by removing the door panel a step which is fairly obvious in the repair. In the listed tools a pick or small flat bladed screwdriver is needed to remove the plastic door lock and cover under door handle and door pull. Plastic pry tool is recommended for removing the door panel (to avoid damage to paint or panel). The 10 mm socket is for the bolts under the door handle (1 bolts) and door pull (2 bolt). The Star bit is for removing screws on the door latch (3 screws). Door panel clips are recommended to replace any of the clips damaged before reattaching the door panel.

Didn’t have all the cable mount fittings. I used some from my oem cable. Take photo b4 tearing it apart. When finished, I had to lea e one panel bolt a little loose ( used Loctite) to allow handle to operate smoothly.
