Check engine light was on in my 2007 honda element. P1157 i think was the code. At 1st i would reset light and popped back on in seconds. Installed this was and light has not came back on. I could tell it was running rich at idle with old sensor. Now its a night and day difference with the new sensor and check engine light has not came back on.

Replaced an oem Denzel sensor for this sensor hope that it would work great cleared codes and now getting new code saying the sensor is “slow responding” don’t know if mine is defective or what. Hope this helps people decide probably better just to get the OEM replacement

Tried a cheap set that included both upstream and downstream sensors after replacing the cat on my 05 crv. it’s didn’t like the upstream lambda so based on the reviews I tried this one on my CEL cleared. This one works if you are wondering. I just wanted to drop another note for the folks in the same boat 👍

purchased to replace upstream O2 sensor on 05 Element for P1157 code. New unit is well constructed, wiring looks solid. Weathertite connector is a direct fit for the OE unit. Cleared codes and drove a cycle, code did not come back, and is not pending. Good unit for the price. There are reviews that state this is prone to fail prematurely. For the price, it was a great test, and if it lasts 15000 miles it will have been worth it to save my client some money now. If it fails, we will go with OE Honda to replace. Car has 230k miles, so I’d say this was a good buy. Good unit, would recommend.
