The automatic tail gate on my escalade would open about half way then come crashing down. Wasn’t sure if it was gonna need a new motor or what the problem was. I figured I’d give these a shot since the originals are 10 years old. Installed these and problem was fixed. Automatic door now opens and closes how it should. I typically go with oem parts it was like 35$ for each one. I wasn’t 100% sure it was gonna fix my problem that’s why I went with these cheap ones. If they last like 3 to 5 I’ll be happy enough.

These were very easy to install if got some help to hold tailgate open takes like 10 minutes to do whole installation –been on vehicle for over 6 months and still work as good as brand new –much better price than getting OEM part

They are an exact fit. They work. They are clearly not as strong as the originals but they are inexpensive and get the job done

these did what they were supposed to and were very easy to instill. can be done by yourself but makes it easier to have help. I had to have someone taller than me to hold up my lift gate all the way up while I installed them and that helped a lot, but mind you I’m only 5 feet tall so it’s a bit harder for me to reach anything.
