When these start to go bad they start chirping. This along with 3 new 1310 u-joints are all the parts you need to rebuild your CV driveshaft. The yoke assembly is well machined and looks identical to the oem part.
Overall a good part without rough edges and nice, clean machining. The spring is protected by a plastic cap that you remove when installing. Ready to install and grease. You will need a needle grease gun tip just as you would with the OEM.
I’ll update this review if there are any longevity issues with it.

In my experience, these are especially hard to find for the jeep front drive shaft when you need one from a parts store. These also work to rebuild a front drive shaft for the rear after a slip yoke eliminator kit and found a junkyard drive shaft needing some tic. I’ve been there, and at this price, it’s a welcome solution. The metal quality feels comparable to OEM. After much searching for a repair on a wrangler front shaft I was amazed to find one At this price. I saw some rust, upon receiving, on the UJOINT receiving side and around the ring retaining the ball, so I knocked it down a star for that… overall i would recommend it in a pinch.
