My wife has a 2001 Grand Cherokee she loves and won’t let me get her a new one. This Jeep has minor problems every few months and it only has 60K on it. Went to a parts store and their scanner showed about 4 different problems. Called the Jeep dealer and they said that year seemed to be a problem for low cost scanners, they would diagnose the ABS problem for a mere $150. I purchased the 20560 for $208 and figured I’d do it myself since the Jeep has active sensors that can’t be checked like the passive ones. Instead of getting under the Jeep I just got a wiring diagram off the web and tested the sensor right from the ABS controller main connector. Tester worked perfectly and the process took 10 minutes to see which sensor was bad. Great buy! The tester will come in handy for my other car and truck.

A bit pricey, so I thought about it for quite a while before making the purchase–but I was quickly able to find both a a defective ABS sensor (that wasn’t tripping the ABS light for some reason) and (a week later) a broken sensor wire, both of which would have easily cost me way more than its purchase price…and now I’m ready for the next “issue.” It’s quick and simple to use…

The Waekon ABS Sensor Pinpoint Tester is a great tool to own, specially for the do it yourself people. I used this pinpoint tester on a car that showed I had ABS problems. The first thing I did was clean all four sensors, and the ABS light didn’t go out. So I questioned what of many things could be the problem. I purchased the Waekon ABS Pinpoint Tester, and when it came promptly in the mail I checked all four sensors with the Waekon Pinpoint Tester, and they checked good. I felt good like I accomplished something because now with the sensors out of the equation I can only assume that I have a bad ABS actuator. Yes, it was a bad actuator because I changed it out , and the ABS light went off.
The Waekon ABS Sensor Pinpoint Tester was very simple, and straight forward to use. It has all the necessary harnesses to connect to any ABS Sensor. I only wished I would have purchased this tool sooner because the car stayed park for a while until I figured out what to do.

I like the tester for checking sensor at wheel ,but for other test to check harness you still need other equipment check more in depth. At 200.00 dollars to basicly check wheel sensors I could put that towards euipment that can check each wheel anyway.
