This battery charger/maintainer comes nicely packaged. Some may say, “So what?” To me nice packaging means attention to detail was given to present the product. The power cord is almost 10′ long and the cord for the battery clamps is about half that. It also comes with very detailed instructions that should be read before use. I am a long-time user of CTEK battery chargers and consider them the Gold Standard. But they start at around $100. This one is a little more than half that and seems to be every bit as good. It performs the same 7-step process that CTEK employs to condition batteries. It also automatically detects the type of battery and the proper voltage. We’ll see if there are any long-term problems, but it is certainly worth a try. I have it on one of my spare AGM batteries now.
