The hatchback on my 2012 Traverse would not stay up when opened so I bought these to fix the issue.
They were quick to install (about 5 min to install both) and easy. Just need a flathead screwdriver to pry up the metal band securing the current support arms, and something to hold the hatchback during the install. I used an old crutch.
They’ve been on there for a couple weeks and are still working fine but can’t comment on long term durability.
