I need to add a connector to the wiring hardness in my RV and this worked great. I was able to do a permanent solder joint on the ends of the wires where they join the flying leads on the plug. I have tried building some of these connectors myself but you have to get the right crimp tool, strip the wire just the right amount, buy the right terminal for you wire gage, etc. It is much easier to buy these pre-made connectors. Deustch connectors hold up great in the elements and I have never has a problem with water getting into them.

These connectors are great when I installed two off-road lamps. Very easy to use because those two lamps do not have separate switches. They appear to be water-tight.

Pre terminated connectors are super nice when you don’t have an expensive radial crimping tool. This 4-pin connector works great. I use these on car projects and in the field on off-road machinery. They are better than almost any other type of automotive connector.
Glock 26 –
If you’re wiring new components to your car, or need to replace wiring, these connectors are a must. They are very well made, are waterproof, and are a great value. They are easy to use. Great for projects where components are not necessarily permanent.
Dusty –
These come with non-adhesive shrink tube. Otherwise these are nice connectors. All of the connectors I do on my own stuff will be these from now on. These have 1015 wire pigtails already in them, which are PCV jacketed. That stuff is hard when it’s cold. I’ll likely pull those and re-pin into a harness to decrease butt connections, but that’s really, really easy to do. These are great for the price.

These are really high quality connectors – probably better than most car manufacturers use. Great for use as a replacement if a clip breaks, contacts get corroded, etc. on an OEM part. The only disadvantage (which is clear and obvious) is that you need to do a good job waterproofing the wire connection if waterproofing is required. Fortunately, under the hood of a car this is probably no big deal.
It comes with heat shrink tubing that matches the wire color which is a nice bonus! Looks very professional when installed.
Plastic is thick enough and unlikely to become brittle, the latch/clip is strong as well. Very well sealed internally against moisture ingress.

I ran across these by accident and thought they looked like the connector on my tractor’s snow blower chute adjustment. The plastic ears broke off that hold the 2 plugs together and I have just taped them together for the past 2 years. The local shop wanted more then I wanted to spend, so I was delighted to see something that I thought would work even if I had to replace both sides of the connector. They came with short pieces of wire attached and heat shrink tubing to seal a splice. They are a perfect match to what is on the tractor and I only need to replace the one side with the lock tabs on it. I got 2 complete sets priced at $10.99. What a great value for me.

I plan on using these to install some auxiliary off-road lights on my truck. From past experience, this style connector is reliable and water proof.
