Everything we found said these probably would not work and we’d need a whole latch assembly .
Cracked plastic on the actual door latch to get to the old cable , changed the cable , been a while now , no issues , works like it should.

Don’t throw your money away going to The Dealer, these were the same identical parts same length / green color for a fraction of the cost. I got 2 for what
Kia wanted Almost eighty dollars a piece for just 1 cable. I will add a side note here if you’re going to do this yourself. You might want to look at YouTube videos
It’s a difficult spot to get into!!
