lamark –
This is the car detailing version of an all in one product, just add water. It’s more efficient than using a clay bar because it covers more surface area at once. The mitt itself feels very substantial and my hand fits comfortably inside, although I can imagine that people with larger paws might not have the same experience.
The clay side works well at removing water spots, tar and discolorations in the paint. Doesn’t take too much pressure, just some liquid and rubbing with the mitt. The microfiber cloth on the reverse side is handy for cleaning up what was polished when you are through with the clay side.

It feels of very good quality. I like that the microfiber part is thick and feels very soft. Also the whole in the mitt is wide enough to fit any hand in there and it’s comfortable to use. It fits secure also which I like.
The clay part feels soft but works very good as a clay “bar” I compared it to a piece of clay bar I had and both seem to work pretty much the same. I like that with this mitt I can cover much more area faster than with a normal clay bar.
As longerivoty goes, the clay seems to be pretty stuck in the microfiber cloth so I hope it lasts and stays but only tine will tell how much it lasts before it starts to come undone.

A nice clay mitt for smaller areas! This mitt works well for touching up smaller areas or motorcycle tanks and fenders. It has a good working action to the lay when lubricated well. It left a nice smooth and uniform pattern that was easily to polish afterwards.

This worked great on the water spots on my car. Easy to use compared to normal clay bars. Did what I needed it to and am happy with it.

The media could not be loaded.
My hands have a hard time fitting inside the mitt and there’s nothing inside to really grip, during the coating process I find it constant slipping off and having to readjust it. The only thing it has going for it is that it’s better than just a block of clay for lightly contaminated paint. If you have heavy contamination I’d recommend an actual clay kit and only using this for touch ups.
Dave’s Travels –
This is the second set of these I have bought. They work great. Are they as good as a clay bar? No but they are great for in between full clay bar treatments. Excellent product.
