These relays come with a very handy pre-wired socket, making it much easier and faster for you to install them. The wiring is colored aligned with standard coloring, and holds the relay snugly in the socket. The relays work exactly as expected, and you can swap them out if/as needed, relatively easily with this socket setup.
Mark –
A regular 5 pin automotive relay, with a heavy duty case and good heavyweight wires.
The only thing that’s kids a bummer is the relay is built into the top of the socket. If you ever have to replace the relay, then you lose the mounting plate and the waterproof connection.
A standard relay will fit, but you’ll need to find a new way to secure it.
