The new ribbon cable worked great. The monitor had stopped working months ago. after replacing cable it now works as it should. I don’t know about longevity, but I am hoping for many years of use.

  2. Shawn

One worked and one didn’t. I switched then in the other DVD screens and one still didn’t work

Does not fit a 2012 town and country at all. You must know the pin size for your tv’s so make sure to check you pin size before buying because these sellers just put anything disruption so you can buy it

I purchased these cables for the VES system in my 2010 Chrysler town and country touring plus minions van! They were very easy to install! No problems! The entertainment system works a treat!
    Thank you

Both of the screens in our van stopped working. These work perfect both screens are now working. As long as you don’t mind digging into stuff it’s really not that hard of a job to replace them yourself

Both vehicles were having issues with their TV screens. We ended up finding a replacement for the Dodge, but then it’s second screen started glitching as well. Went to youtube and found out about these little ribbons going bad and how to replace them. I wasn’t certain these would work, but took a chance and purchased. We did it in an afternoon and BOTH vehicles now have fully functional TVs! It took a while to get it all apart and back together (maybe 3-4 hours total), but completing this was a HUGE relief and saved us a ton of money. Ask questions or do some research to make sure this item fits your vehicle’s screen(s)!

I used these to fix the rear VES system in my 2009 Chrysler Town and Country. The first screen was blank and the one in the back was a split screen. Nothing would play on them. There are a bunch of tutorials online on how to remove the overhead monitors.
That was probably the most challenging part. The work space is a bit cramped and its the middle of summer.
But once removed it was pretty easy to replace the cables. And putting it all back together was super easy and fast.

After a couple years of having the front lcd screen on our 2010 T&C slowly stop working the wife looked up the fix on YouTube. There was only one video of how to remove the long one piece unit from the ceiling and they didn’t mention exactly how many screws the removed. Turns out it’s only four. Two in front and two in back, then it’s only held in place by four plastic tabs. You have then give it a good yank downwards and it all comes down. Mahe sure you disconnect all the cables first and have someone else help you hold it so it doesn’t come down on your head which it almost did with me. Followed the rest of the video to replace the ribbon cables and we finally have working video now! Can’t believe i didn’t research this sooner. The fix is a little time consuming but pretty easy.
