Not sure where they come from because I never see spiders (knock on wood bc I hope I’m not jinxing myself!) but when the sun shines its brightest in the windows around 10:30 in the morning I’m mortified to see a spiderweb every now and then from our tall ceilings. This little firmly packed, flexible strand, “Orange Twist-On Cobweb Duster Head Brush” is now ready for action – like my weapon of choice – waiting for the sun to stream in and illuminate any web and then be abolished. I like that it’s soft enough that I don’t have to worry about it damaging the paint or scratching anything it touches. It’s bright orange so I can find it quickly amongst my cleaning brush heads easily. It doesn’t come with a handle but it easily attaches by screwing on to any same size threaded broom handle you already have. I love having this. I requested this spiderweb duster head when I saw it was available in exchange for a Vine review. Glad I did! Now, be gone spider webs!

If you don’t want to bend down or spend time on the floor; it will clean the baseboards w/o causing scratches

My mother n law loves these. She says they are great for her outdoor webs and dust and can go on any 3/4 pole i believe she says. Lightweight, durable, works great, soft but firm enough to remove debris without scratching. Easy to remove cobwebs debris. Not a swiffer so it will spread dust but not what she uses them for.

The 2 Pack Orange Twist-On Cobweb Duster Heads attached easily to my painting extension pole, allowing me to clear webs from high corners without hauling out a ladder. The orange bristles are firm enough to knock away debris but gentle enough not to scratch surfaces. I was able to reach the tops of ceiling fans and outdoor eaves without much trouble.

Its firm, flexible strands make quick work of webs, and the soft material protects surfaces from scratches. I don’t know if it’s common, but because I have many oak trees near by the webs hang on to all the fallen tree debris. The outer walls of our home and light fixtures are a mess in the spring. I like that the color makes easier to see all the dust and dirt fall off when I clean it off with a hose Simply screw it onto a standard broom handle, and you’re good to go. I attached to a Purdy painters extension poles (6′ -12′); it fit perfectly. One negative is that strands were somewhat bent in the tight box used as packaging. I’m happy with the duster and recommend it.

I live by a lake and fighting spider webs is an every day occurrence. I have used the Webster brand for years. These refills are a perfect replacement heads for my Webster pole and they work just as well for a fraction of the price. Definitely recommend.

TLDR: It’s smaller, and seems to have a frail threaded connector. But it works as well as any other, and if you buy the two-pack, it’s a good deal.
I live in south Florida, where there is no shortage of creepy crawlies. We have a particular type of spider that loves to create webs that hang down from our eaves and pool enclosures, which makes this type of web-removing duster essential. I’ve had the same one for many years, but it was getting pretty beat up, and this is its replacement.
This web duster is smaller than my old one, and actually a bit smaller than advertised. These are actually 6″ in diameter, with pretty bent bristles. It’s unlikely they’ll ever straighten out, but even if they did, they’d be the advertised 6.5″ in diameter.
The bristles are a little smaller than my old one, but they appear to be more dense. I don’t know if there’s actually more of them, or if they’re just arranged better, or if it’s because my other one is so old. In any case, there’s no shortage of bristles.
The bristles are up swept due to the way they’re packaged, and that’s actually good for cleaning. I’ve found that pulling it across my lawn seems to get most of the webs and spiders off. I also spray it with pesticide before use (outside), in the hope that some will remain where I use it and deter the critters from re-establishing a home there.
The threaded connector on this one feels a little less sturdy than my 14-year-old version, but time will tell if it holds up as well.
At this time, the price for one is not a great deal, but the two-pack price is very competitive.
I hope this helps.

I had an old extendable cobweb duster my mother gave me over 30 years ago for my high ceilings. Over time the head had flattened out and become distorted so it no longer worked quite as well in the corners. This head threaded on perfectly! It’s not quite as wide as the old one but I can’t see that making a difference. Very pleased!
