These filters swapped out the old filter in my 2009 Outback perfectly. There was a noticeable increase in my car’s performance and power immediately after installing. These are very reasonably priced for TWO filters instead of just one. Even if they don’t last as long as better known brands, I can afford to swap them out more often.

Years ago I realized the dealerships and oil change places charged outrageous prices for simple things like air filters. Buying these from Amazon has been a great way to spend less than half as much for these. Highly recommend!

I had a bit of trouble with the previous air filter I purchased, which happened to be a Fram filter. It seemed fine at first glance, but for some reason, I struggled to get the housing lid to seal properly. I attempted it multiple times, but to no avail. Interestingly, when I reinstalled the old, dirty Subaru filter, it closed effortlessly. It seems like Fram’s manufacturing quality has taken a nosedive. This time, I decided to take a chance and ordered a filter without any prior reviews or even seeing it in person. Surprisingly, it looks exactly like the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) filter, and when I installed it, the cover sealed perfectly without any issues. The best part is that I managed to get two of these filters for the same price as one from Fram.
