Reads way too high. At 175 degrees, the gauge reads 250. I’m not sure if it’s the gauge or the sending unit but since they are supposed to work together, something isn’t right.

Currently in use on my ’68 El Camino SS until I find the time to R&R the entire dash in order to repair the factory temperature gauge. Looks good hanging under the dash and gives me confidence to drive in the summer and know that the engine temp is okay. Installation was straightforward.
