I got this cap to hopefully solve the “check engine” light (evap code) on my 03 Odyssey. I think the seal on my old cap is not holding the fumes any more.
I put this cap on and reset the code, and will know by tonight if it solved the issue.
The build quality is great, and the packaging was good too. I find no faults with this cap!

The gas cap on my 1999 Honda Civic doesn’t have a cord to keep it attached to the car….it’s a wonder I haven’t lost it by now. A replacement/backup was a good idea so I ordered this.
I ordered a similar cap from a different vendor about a year ago and it was hopeless cheap junk that wouldn’t even fit. This one is MUCH better!
This cap is actually built BETTER than the original Honda cap, with better venting and a slightly thicker rubber seal. It fits perfectly and the same tension produces the same “clicks” as the original cap. So I’ve replaced the original cap with this one.
Couldn’t be happier, especially at this price.

Started leaking gas from cap ,my old cap didn’t leak at all ,doesn’t hold any pressure at all

Bought this because my 2003 Acura TL had an engine code 1429 for an evap leak, and there was a crack in my old gas cap seal, it’s been 2 days since I cleared the code no engine light yet. But besides that it fits well no problems.
