this is an electronic ignition coil. i ordered a points ignition coil. the way you tell the difference is look at the threaded brass terminals.the electronic coil brass terminals are different sizes. the points coil brass terminals are the same size. these coils also have different internal electrical resistance. if a electronic coil is used on points ignition it will reduce the lifespan . many sellers of coils on amazon are selling the wrong coil

Primary side was good for ohms, could not get a reading from the secondary side, and that is the size that puts out the spark.
