Shifter linkage bushing broke on my 2007 Jeep JK. This was the only thing that fit and fixed it.

Easy to put in just soak them in hot water.

Jeep Jk fix for automatic transmission cable (not transfer case). Soak the clear bushing in hot water. Pull cable mount with long needle nose pliers (have to go over the drive shaft for the top one but can be done). Pull down cable end. Apply petroleum jelly to inner bushing race. Remove bushing from hot water and install. If bushing doesn’t return to normal shape once in the race, dip the cable end (with bushing installed) into cup of hot water. Once it returns to shape, reinstall. I have tried many bushings at this point and this seems to be the best fix. Will update as time progresses, but feels solid when it shifts.

The package arrived torn open. One of the items in the package was missing.

Worked great , fit perfectly , you just have to heat it up in hot water first to get it to slide in place
pissed off client –
To hard (plastic) and very hard to install plus it broke after only 2 days right now i am using zip tights which seem to work better (the half inch wide ones),,,,, DO NOT WASTE YOUR DINERO

Once I removed the shifter, the current bushing looked discoloured but intact. Not knowing how long it’d been there, I dug it out of the cable and replaced with the white bushing. Needed vice grips to force it into position. I was upgrading to a touch screen HU anyway so having to take the console off wasn’t an issue.
