The cord and the wire are very sturdy and feel like good quality. This is the second cord I’ve ordered for a vehicle light bar and will likely order more when needed again. I’d recommend this product.

I needed a good-quality 12v male plug for a project I’ve been working on. This is an auxiliary 12v battery power source. I found this item when I looked for a better 12v plug than the one I used to start with. I ordered it.
When it came in, I inspected it. It didn’t have instructions. Usually, this wouldn’t mean much for such a simple item, but the wired plug came with a small case of spare glass fuses. There wasn’t an obvious place for the fuses to be used, so I wonder if they are spares for a fuse inside the plug. As I said, it’s not obvious. It’s also not that big of a deal. The plug would work as-is.
I removed the factory-installed ends it arrived with. They were the wrong style for what I needed. Then, I stripped the wires and wired the assembly to my power pack. I turned on the plug’s switch at the end of the process, which worked well. It is bright when turned on. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of the plug and the switch. Also, the wires are 12GA, with good insulation.
In short, this is an excellent basis for custom wiring projects where you need this type of male 12v plug. Recommend.

Like the thick wires and sturdy fitting. The thing is barely able to fit in 12v outlet… tight will likely break in later. Light in switch is brighter than the lights I bought to use it on! lol. Switch seems durable and I’m totally happy with this product. I don’t believe you will find a better one anywhere else.

Got myself a 12v pump to allow me to pump water from my water bladder in the back of my truck. My 2010 Nissan Titan has a 12v outlet in the back with a 15a fuse and the pump I bought is rated for 7a – 15a max which is perfect for this plug. The on/off switch is very handy for my application as well. I do not have to pull the plug in/out or install one myself. Very happy with this!

I ordered the 5ft 16 awg variant to repair a broken 12v cable for my GPS. It feels well-made. I like that it has an on/off switch. Some cars have an always-on 12v socket. Having the switch can save you from having to unplug the cable every time you turn the car off. Personally, my sockets turn off when my car is off, but I wanted to point that out for other shoppers. I like that the switch lights up and allows me to see if it’s on or off in the dark. I definitely wanted a fused plug. This came with a 15a fuse installed and 2 spares in a small case. This can help protect my socket and my device. I like that this added 5 feet to my GPS cable. Now I can run it behind my interior, so it’s not just hanging down from my dashboard. This is a great little plug.
