I bought this kit specifically to plum a fuel return line that goes back into The original tank. My application was for a 1969 Ford truck and the easiest way to plum a return line is in the fuel filler neck. This product made it so easy that I wish I had found it sooner.
For anyone that is in need of adding a fuel return line to your gas tank For an older vehicle, this kit is for you. It comes with just about everything you need to facilitate inserting the pipe at the fuel filler neck. I did have to trim back the metal filler to accommodate the rubber hoses needed to connect however, it worked flawlessly.
After installation, I was able to go to a gas station and fill my tank without any interruption in fuel flow.
The main metal pipe is sturdy and the bung Is welded on nicely. The kit contains a threaded 90° bar elbow, which fastens to the bong on the larger pipe.
I highly recommend this product to those who are perhaps adding a fuel injection system on an older vehicle. Many vehicles that were carbureted did not require a return fuel line so when upgrading to a bigger carburetor or perhaps a fuel injection system, a return line is required. This factor can often times complicate the upgrade, but this product found here is your solution

Works as well as the 100$ version at Northern Tool that I’ve historically used. If your a first timer using one of these, note, there are no instructions, although I’m sure you can find them on the net.
